The autumn edition of Coolbet Open has been particularly popular among poker players in Northern Europe and Coolbet has been looking very much forward to welcoming players to Tallinn in November 2020.

However, with the Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation still not being under control in Europe as well as the rest of the world, Coolbet has taken the decision to cancel the planned November event as well.

“Although November is still 3 months away, we think it will not yet be a good time to host a poker event like Coolbet Open. The most responsible thing to do is to cancel already now before our players start planning and booking their travels”, Coolbet CEO Anders Karlsen says.

“We want to give the players the best possible experience at a poker event and as it looks right now, this will be difficult in November. Also, there is a risk of a second wave which will lead to increased restrictions on travel and movement”.

Instead of the live event in November, Coolbet plans to host an online version of Coolbet Open.

Coolbet Open as a live event will hopefully be back in 2021 and the next event is planned for 5-9 May, also in Tallinn.

Players who have won packages or buy-in for Coolbet Open will be contacted within 48 hours. In case of any questions are you welcome to contact us on
